Rental Policies & Guidelines

Company Requirements & Guidelines
All participants must adhere to our safety guidelines and operational requirements to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience on our Bike Tours and rentals.
Valid identification and a signed waiver are mandatory prior to any rental or tour departure.

General Understanding & Agreement
By booking with French Quarter Go!, you agree to assume responsibility for the equipment provided during your rental period.
Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received. Any damages incurred will be the financial responsibility of the renter.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Late Arrival Policy
Refund cessation & finality of sales
- All Sales Final: Every transaction is final. Monetary refunds are issued only for Company-initiated safety cancellations.
- If the Company cancels an activity due to severe weather, customers will be offered a full refund, a non-expiring Company Gift Card, or the option to reschedule.
- Approved Non-Weather Cancellations: Cancellations approved by the Company for non-safety reasons result strictly in a non-expiring Company Gift Card. This is the Customer's sole and exclusive remedy.
- Ineligibility: Forfeiture of all funds occurs if a participant cannot attend or refuses participation due to illness, travel, personal choice, failure to meet competency standards or any other reason.

DAMAGE DEPOSITS & DAMAGED EQUIPMENT CHARGES
A valid credit card is required to be kept on file for all rentals to serve as a damage deposit.
Renters are fully responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the equipment during the rental period. Charges for repairs or replacement will be billed directly to the card on file.
COMPANY DISAVOWMENT STATEMENT
French Quarter Go! and its affiliates are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss sustained during the use of our rental equipment or participation in our tours.
Participants engage in activities at their own risk and are expected to exercise caution and adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations.

HEALTH & SAFETY
The health and safety of our guests and staff is our utmost priority. All equipment is thoroughly sanitized between uses.
We recommend that all participants wear appropriate safety gear, stay hydrated, and remain aware of their surroundings while navigating the busy streets of the French Quarter.

LATE RETURNS
Equipment returned after the agreed-upon time will be subject to late fees. We ask that you respect the schedule to ensure availability for other guests.
If you anticipate being late, please contact our office immediately to discuss options and avoid additional penalties.

CLEANING OF VEHICLE AND/OR EQUIPMENT AFTER RETURN
Vehicles and equipment must be returned in a reasonably clean condition. Excessive dirt, mud, or trash left behind may result in a cleaning fee.
Please dispose of all personal items and trash before returning your rental to avoid these additional charges.

AGE REQUIREMENT & POLICY OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE OPERATION
Operators of electric vehicles must meet the minimum age requirement of 25 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
All operators must follow local traffic laws and operate the vehicle safely. Reckless driving will result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.

OTHER GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
All renters must sign a liability waiver before participating in any tour or rental. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or unable to safely operate the equipment.
Please follow all instructions provided by our staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

WEATHER POLICY
Tours and rentals operate rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather (e.g., lightning, heavy flooding), we may delay, reschedule, or cancel for safety reasons.
If we cancel due to severe weather, you will be offered a full refund, a non-expiring Company Gift Card, or the option to reschedule.

NON-AUTHORIZED USE
Equipment is for personal use only and may not be subleased, used for commercial purposes, or operated by anyone other than the registered renter.
Any non-authorized use will result in immediate confiscation of the equipment without refund and potential legal action.

NON-APPROVED USE OF COMPANY EQUIPMENT
Taking equipment outside of the designated rental boundaries or using it on unapproved terrain (e.g., off-road, deep water) is strictly prohibited.
Violations will incur heavy fines and the renter will be fully responsible for any resulting damage or recovery costs.

SECURE THE VEHICLE & ALL EQUIPMENT
Renters must properly secure all vehicles and equipment when not in active use. Locks are provided for bicycles and must be used at all times when parked.
Failure to secure equipment resulting in theft or damage will leave the renter fully liable for replacement costs.

FORMS OF PAYMENT
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) for bookings and deposits.
Cash payments are accepted in-store, but a valid credit card must still be kept on file for the damage deposit.

3RD PARTY TRANSPORT OF COMPANY VEHICLES
Transporting our vehicles or equipment via third-party services (e.g., moving trucks, personal trailers) is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from management.
Any unauthorized transport will result in immediate cancellation of the rental agreement and forfeiture of the deposit.

REFUND AFTER DEPARTURE
Once a rental or tour has commenced, no refunds will be issued for early returns, dissatisfaction with weather conditions, or failure to follow instructions.
If equipment malfunctions during your rental, please contact us immediately so we can provide a replacement or appropriate resolution for your Mobility Scooter or other rental.
